NilaamGhar is a selling service in Pakistan. You list something you want to sell, our team calls you, advertises it and deals with buyers. To do that we need some information about you. This page explains what we keep, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What we collect

  • Your account. Your name and email address, from Google, Facebook or the email sign-up you used. If you sign in with Facebook we receive only your public profile (name and picture) and your email. We do not read your friends, posts or messages, and we never post to your Facebook.
  • Your phone number and city. So our team can call you about your listing.
  • Your listings. Title, description, condition, prices, area, and your photos. Photos have their hidden location data removed when we save them.
  • Offers from buyers. A buyer's name, phone number, offer amount and message.
  • Notes from our team. What was said on calls and chats about your listing, and a log of status changes.

Who can see it

  • The public sees a live or sold listing: title, description, photos, asking price, city and area. Never your name, phone number or email.
  • Our team sees everything above, including your phone number and your private lowest price.
  • Buyers only deal with our team. We do not hand out your number. We pass you the offers.
  • Service providers that run the website for us (hosting, and email delivery for sign-in messages). They handle data only on our instructions.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising profiles.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you signed in and one for the sign-in process. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website.

How long we keep it

While your account is open. When a listing is sold we keep a record of the sale, price and commission for our accounts and for any dispute. You can ask us to delete your account at any time, see how to delete your data.

Your choices

  • See or correct your details on your profile page.
  • Ask for a copy of your data.
  • Ask us to delete your account and your listings.
  • Withdraw a listing whenever it is still open.
